Bosch full steam combination ovens have a variety of steam functions to ensure you can steam with ease.
Pure Steaming: cook dishes with steam only at 30-100°C, preserving natural colour, taste and vitamins.
Reheating: using steam to reheat results in greater moisture and regeneration, the dish will taste as if it was just cooked.
Dough Proving: Allow dough to rise quicker at 40°C compared to standard room temperature.
Defrost: Low temperatures and gentle steam are the perfect combination to defrost even the most delicate of foods.
Sous-vide: Vacuum sealed foods can be slow cooked at low temperatures to enjoy maximum flavours.

Heating functions that are compatible with added steam
The added steam function combines conventional cooking methods with bursts of steam throughout the cooking process. These include 4D HotAir, HotAir grilling, PerfectRoast, Top/bottom heating and Keep warm.
When you choose to use the added steam function with these programs, ingredients will retain moisture on the inside, while the outside browns and becomes crispy.
