Should I repair my old appliance or get a new one?

Depending on the fault and the age and status of your appliance, our Bosch Home Appliances service will do an analysis and recommend whether a service repair is appropriate. We will give you advice on what is best to do. In most cases, a repair will be recommended as far as technically and economically worthwhile. Ultimately, it’s your decision about what happens to your appliance.

For repairs which requires an engineer's visit if a repair isn’t possible or not recommended in out-of-warranty cases, Within the warranty, there will be solution, such as the exchange of your appliance. We have a variety of solutions available such as Direct Replacement Service, old disposal and scrapping, etc.

What parts are used to repair?

Our customer service only uses only original replacement spare parts – not copies or second-hand parts. To prepare in the best way, all issues are analysed in advance by a technical team to ensure the engineer is equipped with the replacement spare parts likely to be needed to complete the repair.

How much will the repair cost?

If your appliance is covered by the two-year Bosch manufacturer warranty conditions there will no charge for the repair. In case the appliance is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, you can check the repair prices here. Details you will get by selecting the appliance category which is concerned. Our customer service carefully monitors the repair prices to offer you the best possible value for money.

Which data are needed to book a repair?

For booking of a repair the Service experts will ask for some appliance data and a description of the problem. Please provide the model number (E-Nr)of your appliance. The E-Nr. is needed to prepare the engineer’s visit e.g. providing needed spare parts to the engineer. The E-Nr. is shown on the type plate of your appliance. It consists of three letters at the beginning followed by a mix of numbers and letters. Bosch model numbers will always start with three letters and will always end by a “/” and two numbers as the last two signs.
